The Role:
The Principal, Civil/Structural is responsible for leading the group’s operational, technical and business development activities. The Principal will investigate losses and failures involving buildings/structures and perform site examinations to assess damage resulting from fire, flood, wind, vehicle and other impacts to determine appropriate repair work. The Principal will also be responsible for mentoring group members on a variety of different things.

Senior Fire Investigator (Senior Associate)
The Role:
The Senior Fire Investigator (Senior Associate) will conduct on site investigations of complex losses and provide technical oversight, support and mentorship to junior team members within the Fire and Electrical Investigations group. This role also involves consulting and collaborating with other subject matter experts and clients to determine origin and cause of losses and potential opportunities for subrogation and performing fire and explosion investigations at commercial, industrial and residential locations. The Senior Fire Investigator will also produce detailed reports regarding investigations and may be required to appear before the courts as an expert witness.

Junior Fire Investigator (Associate)
The Role:
The Junior Fire Investigator (Associate) will work closely with senior group members to perform fire and explosion investigations at commercial, industrial and residential locations. In addition, the Junior Fire Investigator will assist with developing technical drawings, reports, field measurements, photographic records, sketches, calculations and specification sheets.

Senior Electrical Investigator (Senior Associate)
The Role:
The Senior Electrical Investigator (Senior Associate) will conduct on site investigations of complex electrical losses and provide technical oversight, support and mentorship to junior team members within the Electrical and Fire Investigations group. This role also involves consulting and collaborating with other subject matter experts and clients to determine cause and origin of losses and potential opportunities for subrogation and performing investigations related to High and Medium voltage electrical failures. Additionally, the Senior Electrical Investigator will perform hands-on electrical testing and assessment to determine the operation of electrical systems and equipment, produce detailed reports regarding investigations and appear as an expert witness before the courts.

Junior Electrical Investigator (Associate)
The Role:
The Junior Electrical Investigator (Associate) will work closely with senior group members to perform electrical investigations related to transformers, switchgear, motors, generators, cables, electrical distribution systems, etc. The Junior Investigator will also perform electrical testing and assessments on site to determine the operation of electrical systems and equipment.
What We Look For:
Collision Reconstructionist (Junior & Senior Associates)
The Role:
The Collision Reconstructionist will work closely with group members to perform post collision vehicle and site examinations relating to loss/failures. In this role, Associates will also be responsible for conducting research regarding design, operation and performance of vehicle mechanisms, components and systems leading to failure and analyzing dynamics of vehicle mechanical systems and structures as well as road, environmental and human factors.

Geotechnical Engineer (Intermediate Associate)
The Role:
The Geotechnical Engineer (Intermediate Associate) will work closely with group members to perform geotechnical-related investigations and investigate mining and heavy civil infrastructure failures with specific focus on foundations, slopes, excavations and cuts, earth retaining systems and contamination.
