Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc. Assisting with Claims After Severe Flooding Hits Quebec

May 18, 2017   by Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc.

Toronto –Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc.’s adjusters are handling claims resulting from the recent Quebec flooding, following today’s announcement by the Quebec government to allow out-of-province adjusters into Quebec to provide relief.

Heavy rain and snowmelt hit Quebec earlier this month resulting in nearly 4,100 flooded residences and over 3,000 displaced residences.

As well, according to Environment Canada, parts of eastern Ontario were soaked close to 80 millimeters of rain.

Crawford’s Catastrophe Team is deploying staff throughout the municipalities to provide assistance to afflicted areas.

“Crawford’s adjusters are mobilized and ready to provide assistance with the flood effort,” said Jim Eso, Senior Vice President, Property and Casualty. “We are managing the event out of our regional branch and will deploy more adjusters to the area as required.”
