CSIO Announces First 50 Technology Leader Brokerages

September 27, 2016   by CSIO (Centre for Study of Insurance Operations)

(Toronto – September 27, 2016) The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) is pleased to announce that it has identified 50 brokerages from across Canada as CSIO Technology Leaders. These brokerages have been deemed top performers because they achieved a score of 100% on their CSIO Technology Scorecard assessment.

Ontario has twenty-three Tech Leaders, followed by eleven in Alberta, five in Quebec, four in Saskatchewan and the remaining seven are spread out in the other provinces. CSIO encourages brokers in all provinces to complete the scorecard and email techinfo@csio.com if they score 100% so that their brokerage can be recognized.

“I applaud the 50 brokerages from across Canada that have become CSIO Tech Leaders as it signifies that technology adoption is increasing within the broker channel, and consumers will no doubt benefit from that,” states Catherine Smola, President & CEO of CSIO. “I look forward to seeing more brokerages in all provinces become Tech Leaders.”
