Economical earns highest recognition from Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade Ontario for consistent funding for the fight against cancer

WATERLOO, ON, April 13, 2017 — Economical Insurance is the proud recipient of the 2017 Hall of Flame Award, the highest level of recognition offered by Women in Insurance Cancer Crusade (WICC) Ontario, for its significant financial contributions to the fight against cancer. The award was presented last night at the 2017 WICC Gala, held at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto.
“For more than 10 years, we have proudly sponsored Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life events, contributing more than $700,000 thus far to help create a world without cancer,” said Rowan Saunders, President and Chief Executive Officer of Economical Insurance. “We are honoured to receive the Hall of Flame award that recognizes our long-term commitment to funding life-saving cancer research.”
