First General Property Restoration Specialists Hiring a Large Loss Operations Manager

This new position is created for a forward, ‘out of the box’ thinking individual willing to lead a multinational team of offices in large and corporate losses.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional property restoration and estimating experience in excess of $100,000 as per clients estimating requirements
  • Develop and maintain a strong client book of business
  • Work with Affiliate offices in the flawless execution of large losses
  • Primary company contact with property owners, insurance claims personnel, and consultants
  • Provide technical explanations to clients, adjusters, consultants, and property owners
  • Meet with inspectors as required
  • Be available 24/7 to co-oordinate after-hours emergency services as directed
  • Complete accident, injury, & incident reporting forms as required by law
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, strong work ethic and a customer first attitude
  • Minimum five (5) years construction and estimating experience in large or significant losses
  • Excellent knowledge in property restoration best practices
  • Working knowledge of applicable building codes
  • Demonstrated Xactware experience as well as MS Project, Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in identification of potential site hazards (asbestos, lead paint, mold, etc.) and development of site specific work safe plans beyond jurisdictional requirements
  • Willing to work nights, weekends and CAT deployment for extended durations with periodic travel
  • Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling and capacity to lift 50LBS as a minimum
  • Ability to work in a confined space and operate at high / steep altitude; roofs
