GroupOne Appoints Mark VanHelden as Director of Professional / Management Liability & Cyber Insurance

Kay-Lee Franklin, President and CEO, GroupOne Insurance Services, is pleased to announce that Mark VanHelden recently joined the firm as Director of Professional / Management Liability & Cyber Insurance.

Mark will grow the company’s business in various specialty lines and ensure GroupOne’s brokers are well served for additional risks beyond traditional property and casualty insurance. He will assist brokers with selling D&O and other specialty products to their customers who still don’t purchase what should be standard coverages, as well as new and emerging cyber risks.

Mark brings to GroupOne, a long track record of management and underwriting excellence in the Management Liability space, with over 20 years with two large property, casualty and specialty lines providers and most recently, leading a specialty lines underwriting unit servicing the middle market space.  He also has his CPA, CGA designation and has been a proven educator to brokers and their clients about Directors & Officers Liability issues and coverages.

Mark resides in Thornhill, Ontario with his wife and three daughters.  In his spare time, Mark still enjoys playing some sports and is an ardent fan of Toronto FC and the Dutch national soccer team. Mark also volunteers as Treasurer for a non-profit organization.
