Jean-Francois Leclerc-Cloutier Returns to EFI Global’s Montreal Office

Montreal, Quebec (August 15, 2016) – EFI Global is pleased to announce the return of Jean-Francois Leclerc-Cloutier to our EFI Global Montreal team.

Jean-François Leclerc-Cloutier is a certified professional geologist with a Bachelor degree in Geology and a Master degree in Earth Sciences with over ten years of experience. Mr. Leclerc-Cloutier has been involved in a variety of environmental projects and mining exploration programs throughout Quebec, Ontario and Guyana. Jean-Francois’s experience includes a wide range of emergency response work associated with hydrocarbons and other types of contaminant releases. Jean-Francois was also a key member of EFI Global’s response team in the management and rehabilitation of a large pipeline spill that impacted five hectares of land, primarily consisting of a floodplain.  Some activities included managing large scale sampling programs, monitoring the excavation of highly contaminated soils, monitoring the efficacy of mobile groundwater treatment units, and enforcing health & safety protocols within the worksite perimeters.

Jean Francois also participated in a large multidisciplinary research campaign in collaboration with Environment Canada. The project was initiated in order to monitor atmospheric emissions originating from copper smelting activities and to characterize the dispersion of volatile metals and other contaminants in the atmosphere.
