Jeff Setterington joins Evolution Insurance as Executive Vice President

Montreal, Quebec – Jeff Setterington has joined Evolution Insurance as Executive Vice President effective today.  “Evolution is excited to have Jeff on board and welcomes him as part of the family,” Yves Daigneault, President of Evolution Insurance stated.

Jeff’s main role with Evolution is growth. Whether geographic expansion, talent acquisition or broadening product offerings, his growth strategies will take many forms.  Known nationally, with a successful track record for growing insurers organically, Jeff brings those benefits to Evolution. Known within all disciplines of the industry, Jeff employs solutions through inviting varying talents to a common table.

Jeff’s past roles include: claims, general and specialty underwriting, reinsurance, marketing and leadership covering all major pillars of the commercial insurance space. The majority of his twenty-plus years has been working in the areas of sales and strategic marketing, where his achievements growing two entities are recognizable. Jeff has successfully executed senior strategic growth plans, as well as having implemented operational initiatives for both large insurers and start ups.

Jeff is known nationally by brokers and clients in varying segments: either the risk management or middle market. Outside the insurance industry, Jeff is known within the Capital Markets and Private Equity community and viewed as worthy investment opportunity and creator of value.

Evolution Insurance is a mature MGA, Wholesaler and Risk Consultant operating across all Canadian provinces. Evolution has locations in Montreal and Toronto. Jeff’s role is national but he will primarily work from the Toronto Office. Evolution is well positioned for growth in the next years.
