Expert team advancing the company’s strategic growth in the Canadian market

Toronto, March 6, 2017 – Sedgwick, a leading global provider of technology-enabled risk and claims solutions, is pleased to announce a strategic addition to its growing team in the Canadian market: Josie MacKinnon has been named National Client Service Director in the Mississauga office.

Josie MacKinnon has oversight of Sedgwick’s national programs and contracts to ensure that our clients’ insurance interest is managed in Canada. Her responsibilities include supervision of Account Managers.

During her 20 years of independent industry experience, Josie specialized in servicing corporate and risk management accounts with self-insured retentions, MGAs and insurers. Josie’s areas of expertise include commercial property, occupiers’ liability, product liability, automobile, litigation management, mediations, captive programs and trust accounts. She works with Sedgwick colleagues and clients in the U.S. to assist with territorial coverage, jurisprudence, allocation, expense management and pricing.

Josie holds the Chartered Insurance Professional designation and is licensed in all lines of business. She is a member of the Ontario Insurance Adjusters Association and the Canadian Independent Adjusters’ Association.
