ServiceMaster Restore Announces New Whistler & Squamish Location

Whistler, BC. – Not new to the ServiceMaster family, our newest franchise owner David Benoit adds ServiceMaster Restore of Whistler & Squamish to his portfolio with the company.  David is the successful owner of four ServiceMaster Clean licences and brings with him an 18 year history with the company to serve the market.

In 1998, he started as a disaster restoration project manager with ServiceMaster of Vancouver and shortly after purchased his first residential cleaning franchise.  After several years of success, his ServiceMaster Clean Residential Vancouver franchise acquired the residential, commercial and janitorial licenses for the Whistler and Squamish areas. “We’ve built a strong customer base through the homes, businesses and institutions we service so opening a ServiceMaster Restore location in the area was a natural addition,” says Benoit.

ServiceMaster Clean Residential Vancouver started with eight employees and three trucks.  Today, the operation includes a staff of over 60 with 20 ServiceMaster vehicles on the road. A key part of its growth was due to technology and the real-time field management that connects all aspects of the business.  Benoit adds, “It’s critical that sales, marketing, field service and administration are talking the same language.”

The franchise is operating from a facility in Whistler while waiting for their new location to be built in the Squamish Business Park, which is slated to be ready in fall 2017.
