Tina Thomas joins Pario’s Red Deer office as Senior Project Manager

Red Deer – Pario Engineering & Environmental Sciences LP, one of Canada’s leading providers of forensic engineering and environmental services to the insurance and risk management markets, announced that it has hired Tina Thomas to serve as Senior Project Manager, effective April 25, 2017, of a new branch in Red Deer, Alberta, servicing Alberta and Northeastern British Columbia. Ms. Thomas has extensive project management experience and is an important complement to Pario’s emergency response and remediation team. Pario’s expansion in Western Canada is part of our continued commitment to provide clients nationwide expansion and coverage.

With more than 25 years combined experience within industrial, commercial, and agricultural sectors, Ms. Thomas brings extensive background to her role.  In the past 15 years she has been extensively involved with spill response, remediation, reclamation, construction, linear developments and incident investigation. She has a great deal of experience in project management, assessment, estimation, risk and liability assessment and mitigation, regulatory liaison, client and stakeholder interactions, budgeting and maintaining compliance.

Ms. Thomas holds a Diploma in Land Resource Management; Soil and Water Conservation, and is a registered member of the Alberta Institute of Agrologists as an Agrologist Technologist in Training. She holds an Environmental Reclamation Certificate, a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Certificate and a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment Certificate. Through the Environmental Resource Management Program offered by the University of Alberta, she studied the classification and reclamation of Alberta soils, soil fertility and applied hydrogeology. Her experience in the industrial, commercial and agricultural sectors across Western Canada makes her a valuable resource as Senior Project Manager and specifically to the Central Alberta office.
