Vericlaim expands into new Edmonton office
Daryl Doiron and Shauna Dobson join expert team advancing strategic growth in the Canadian market

Edmonton, February 10, 2017 – Sedgwick and its subsidiary Vericlaim, a global provider of loss adjusting and claims management solutions, are pleased to announce further Canadian expansion as the companies celebrate the newest office opening for Vericlaim in Edmonton. In addition, industry expert Daryl Doiron has joined the team as executive general adjuster; Shauna Dobson, as senior adjuster.

Daryl J. Doiron, CIP | Executive General Adjuster
Daryl Doiron brings more than 30 years of experience in independent adjusting and management to his new role with Vericlaim. Daryl is licensed in all lines in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories. His specialties include large loss, commercial and residential, course of construction, professional and products liability, amusement liability and rail liability. He joins the Vericlaim Canada team to lead the new Edmonton office, manage claims handling, and serve as the control adjuster for various national accounts.

Prior to joining Vericlaim, Daryl worked with major Canadian insurance carriers and claims administrators. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from St. Mary’s University, as well as his Chartered Insurance Professional designation. Daryl is a member of the Canadian Independent Adjusters Association and the Alberta Independent Adjusters Association.

Shauna Dobson, CIP | Senior Adjuster
Shauna Dobson has nearly 20 years of experience in independent adjusting and management. Shauna’s specialties include commercial and residential property, personal and commercial liability, professional liability, wrongful dismissal, E&O, D&O, auto liability, bodily injury, accident benefit claims, hospitality and retail. She joins the Vericlaim Canada team as senior adjuster.

Shauna’s previous experience includes working as a senior adjuster and branch manager for major insurance carriers and claims administrators. She earned a Financial Diploma with Honors from NAIT and holds the Chartered Insurance Professional designation. Shauna is a member of the Insurance Institute of Canada, the Alberta Insurance Council, the Canadian Independent Adjusters Association and the Edmonton Independent Adjusters Association.
