Surex Direct has announced the availability of a new tenant’s and condo insurance quote process designed to make things faster and more simple for users.

Technology-laptopThe customer-facing quote process allows users to know “exactly what their best policy price is and what coverages are included for that price,” notes a issued statement Tuesday by the online brokerage, a Canada-wide insurance provider.

Customers using the quote process can preview as many as 10 unique offers in less than five minutes, Surex Direct reports. They then can purchase through e-signature and have instant access to insurance documentation.

A tenant’s insurance policy provides a renter protection for their personal items and for personal liability coverage. If a renter is forced to temporarily relocate, as a result of damage or loss, additional living expenses (food, shelter and transport) coverage is available, the statement notes.

Surex Direct advises that for those seeking a condo insurance policy, it is a good idea to review one’s contract with the condo association.

“Your condo association will have an insurance policy. Your association’s policy can affect the amount of coverage you need to have. From there, your broker will be able to tailor a condo policy to match your needs,” the broker suggests.

“Our goal was to create a product and experience that will revolutionize the tenant’s insurance sector,” says Matthew Alston, COO and co-founder of Surex Direct.

“As an online brokerage, providing consumers a convenient, efficient way to shop for the best insurance rates available is the foundation of our business,” Alston continues.

The broker already provides, among others, auto, home and business insurance through its 10-plus partnered companies.
