Royal & SunAlliance (R&SA) has continued its investment as a full partner of the Broker Identity Program for 2008, the Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) announced in a release.
“For many years, R&SA has sponsored IBAC’s broker education campaign and we are proud to continue as a full partner of the Broker Identity Program,” said Rowan Saunders, president and CEO of R&SA. “We believe that brokers provide valuable advice and expertise to Canadians and will continue to support the long-term growth of the broker channel.”

David MacDonald has been recruited to run XN Risk’s public company directors and officers practice.
MacDonald will hold the position of vice president and will actively spearhead underwriting, product development and marketing activities.
“David’s valuable underwriting experience anchored with a unique set of management skills aligns very well with XN Risk’s management strength,” said Dan Anber, president and CEO of XN Holdings Inc., in a press release. “As XN Risks’s portfolio of innovative insurance solutions continues to evolve, there is no question that he will positively contribute to and enhance XN Risks’s unique capabilities in the Canadian landscape.”
Prior to joining XN Risk, MacDonald held several senior underwriting and management positions with local and large multinational insurance organizations, including most recently ACE INA Insurance, the release notes.
