Watch out for pizza delivery risk during the Super Bowl

As the United States gears up for the Super Bowl on Feb. 5, insurers are warning of the escalation of risks specific to the big football game.
Take pizza delivery, for example.
As U.S. households hunker down for the big game, which starts around dinnertime at 6:30 pm, it's a no-brainer to order take-out for dinner. Fast-food chains, including pizza delivery chains, are bound to have more drivers on the road. And more drivers on the road will of course increase the chance of more accidents.
"Over the past five years...Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. has seen a 9% increase in auto insurance claims arising from pizza delivery accidents on Super Bowl Sunday than on all other days," company spokeswoman Suzanne Meraz told InsuranceQuotes.com.

I made home-made pizza so I did my part in Superbowl Risk Management. You're welcome auto insurers.
