Zurich Canada CEO Alister Campbell is no longer with Zurich's Canadian business, effective immediately, the company has announced to its brokers.
"A smooth transition is planned and a successor will be named in due course," Zurich wrote in a statement to brokers on Feb. 7. "As a leader in our industry, during this brief transition and beyond, Zurich will continue to serve our brokers and customers to the high standard to which they are accustomed."

Campbell became Zurich Canada's president and CEO after Robert Landry retired at the end of 2007. Campbell joined Zurich after serving as senior vice president of planning and communications at ING Canada Inc. (now Intact).
