The C.D. Howe Institute is welcoming its newest senior fellow, Alister Campbell, into its ranks.
“Alister’s experience and insights from his career in life and property-casualty insurance will be hugely valuable to the C.D. Howe Institute’s work in these areas,” said William Robson, president and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, through a statement. “His keen interest in public policy and governance makes him a terrific addition to the Institute’s team.”
Campbell is well known on the Canadian P&C landscape. He has held the CEO title at both The Guarantee Company of North America and Zurich Canada.
Campbell currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Global Risk Institute in Financial Services. He previously chaired the board of directors of the Property & Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation and held a deputy chair of the board position at the Insurance Bureau of Canada.
