Alister Campbell is a senior fellow at C.D. Howe Institute

mergersThe C.D. Howe Institute is welcoming its newest senior fellow, Alister Campbell, into its ranks.

“Alister’s experience and insights from his career in life and property-casualty insurance will be hugely valuable to the C.D. Howe Institute’s work in these areas,” said William Robson, president and CEO of the C.D. Howe Institute, through a statement. “His keen interest in public policy and governance makes him a terrific addition to the Institute’s team.”

Campbell is well known on the Canadian P&C landscape. He has held the CEO title at both The Guarantee Company of North America and Zurich Canada.

Campbell currently serves as a member of the board of directors of the Global Risk Institute in Financial Services. He previously chaired the board of directors of the Property & Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation and held a deputy chair of the board position at the Insurance Bureau of Canada.
