ARAG appoints Eastern Canada sales manager

Nancy Babeu has been appointed regional sales manager for Eastern Canada by ARAG Services Corporation.

Babeu has almost 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including more than three years in the legal expense sector. She’s held managerial, underwriting and account management roles with companies such as ABZ Insurance and Allstate Insurance Company of Canada.

“I’m a firm believer in the huge benefits that legal expense insurance has to offer both families and businesses alike, and the great possibilities it opens up for brokers,” Babeu said in a news release. “It really is an honour to be joining a company that has such a proud heritage of promoting the cause of access to justice for ordinary people, all over the world.”

Babeu will be ARAG’s principal broker for Quebec, and will lead sales operations in Atlantic Canada and Ottawa. She is fully licensed in commercial and personal lines damage insurance in Quebec and is working towards both her CRM and CIP designations.
