Echelon obtains CSIO certification for policy docs generated by Passport

Copyright: 123RF.com / everythingpossibleEchelon Insurance has obtained the Centre for Study of Insurance Operations’ (CSIO) Certification for Personal Lines eDocs generated by their new policy management system, Passport.

“As a broker-exclusive insurer, Echelon is committed to investing in technology to support seamless interaction with our brokers,” Serge Lavoie, president and CEO of Echelon Insurance, said in a news release.

Lavoie added that CSIO’s certification is a boost to improving Echelon’s systems and broker connectivity.

CSIO certification is available to all of its member insurance companies and vendors. Brokers can use CSIO’s eDocs Savings Calculator to determine how much they would save by adopting digital policy documents.
