Golf tournament raises $50,000 for youth financial literacy

The Tav Malhotra Invitational, held at the Glen Abbey Golf Club in Oakville, Ont., on Aug. 1, raised $50,000 for youth financial literacy programs.

The money will fund workshops on saving, investing and achieving financial freedom that will be offered to high school and university students in the Greater Toronto Area.

The golf tournament was followed by a benefit gala hosted by the Concierge Club at the Ritz-Carlton in Toronto.
