Greg Metcalfe named SVP and CFO of CNA Canada

mergersGreg Metcalfe has been appointed senior vice-president and chief financial officer of CNA Canada.

“I’m thrilled to join CNA Canada at the time when the company is making significant investment in talent and technology to support its continued growth,” Metcalfe said in a news release. “I look forward to spearheading a number of strategic initiatives that will help the company and customers thrive in today’s ever-changing industry.”

Metcalfe has more than 20 years of executive-level experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining CNA Canada, he served as chief financial officer of Arthur J. Gallagher Canada. He has also held senior roles at Noraxis Capital Corporation and RSA.

Metcalfe will report to Nick Creatura, president and CEO of CNA Canada.

“I’m very excited to have Greg join our team as his financial acumen, leadership and communication skills make him ideally suited to assume a leading role in advancing our business,” Creatura said. “Greg is one of the top financial executives in the Canadian P&C industry and a great addition to the team.”
