Hub acquires brokerage in Western Canada

Hub International Limited has acquired Blackstone Insurance, Benefits & Bonding Inc.

Headquartered in Saskatoon with an additional office in Regina, Blackstone offers commercial insurance and employee benefits.

Troy Shanks, vice-president of Blackstone’s benefits division, and Tim Shanks, senior vice-president of commercial, will join Hub Manitoba and report to Doug Trapp, vice-president of Hub Manitoba.

Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
