Hub International acquires Manitoba-based brokerage

Hub International has announced it has acquired the shares of Desilets Insurance Brokers, based in Elie, Manitoba.

Desilets is a provider of personal and commercial insurance, and also specializes in farming insurance.

The brokerage fits into Hub’s recent launch of eight specialty practices in industry sectors—in this case, agriculture—that it feels are positioned for growth.

All of Desilets’ operations will now become a part of Hub Manitoba.

Terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
