The CSIO is working with insurers that include RSA Canada, Northbridge Insurance and Gore Mutual in developing the technology for the electronic delivery of personal and commercial policy documents and auto liability cards to consumers.

“We are very happy with this solution and the benefits it will provide to our members,” said George Hodgson, IBAA’s CEO, in a statement. “A simple, standardized option for providing a digital experience to consumers is precisely what many brokers are looking for when it comes to sending policy documents, and this solution will meet that need.”

The release of the tool is expected in early 2018. CSIO initially announced it was working with partners on this project in June.
