The Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) published its annual Top 10 Most Frequently Stolen Vehicles list earlier today.
Eight of the vehicles listed in the top 10 are Ford F-350 Super Duty 4WD pickup trucks of various model years.

“We see from this list that criminals continue to favour all-wheel drive and four-wheel drive, older, high-end vehicles,” Dan Service, IBC’s acting national director of investigative services, said in a media release.
The release also cited Statistics Canada data noting that vehicle theft has declined in most major cities across the country, although it has increased by 49% in Guelph, Ont., 17% in Regina and 16% in Saskatoon.
Alberta once again had the highest rate of auto theft, with 536 cases per 100,000 people.
