Intact sets up service centres in Ottawa and Gatineau

Intact Insurance and belairdirect have set up temporary service centres in Ottawa and Gatineau following the severe weather and tornadoes that hit the region last Friday.

“We are thinking of the communities and individuals impacted by the windstorm and tornadoes during this difficult time,” said Nick Frattaroli, Intact’s vice-president, Ontario claims. “Our people are on the ground to support our displaced customers, and help them get back on track.”

Policyholders can make a claim by phone 24/7, or in person at a service centre. Staff will be assisting customers with questions about the claims process, settling contents claims and providing reimbursement for additional living expenses.

Service centres can be found at the following locations:

Ontario
Holiday Inn and Suites, 101 Kanata Avenue, Kanata, Ontario K2T 1E6.
Monday – Friday: 8: 30 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET

Quebec
815 boulevard de la Carrière, Gatineau, J8Y 6T4.
Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET
Saturday – Sunday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET

The Intact Foundation has donated $50,000 to the Canadian Red Cross to support relief efforts.
