SGI Canada has joined the D/X Initiative, a proof-of-concept project aimed at demonstrating real-time data exchange between brokers and insurers.
“We are thrilled to have SGI CANADA’s involvement,” Brenda Rose, D/X Initiative chair, said in a news release. “Their unique perspective will broaden the scope of this initiative and help to demonstrate further what can be achieved if the D/X principles are followed.”

Announced in January, the D/X Initiative trial focuses on communicating claims information using CSIO’s data exchange standards, which have been endorsed by IBAC.
SGI Canada joins AIG Canada, RSA Canada and Travelers Canada in the D/X Initiative, which is also supported by BMS vendors Keal Technology and Custom Software Solutions Inc. (CSSI). The initiative receives project management from the Toronto Insurance Conference (TIC) and cooperation from CSIO.
