SGI Canada and Kanetix have announced the addition of two new products that are now available for quote on SGI Canada eQuote.

Small business owners in Saskatchewan can now obtain a quote online for SGI Canada’s small business packages of Toolbox Pak and Energy Pak.  Toolbox Pak provides affordable property and liability insurance for small, independent contracting operations. Energy Pak is designed to protect businesses in the oil and gas industry from unexpected loss or property damage.

“We are excited to partner with our brokers to offer more products as part of our eQuote solution,” said Andrew Cartmell, president and CEO of SGI Canada.  “The addition of Toolbox Pak and Energy Pak to eQuote is another step in our mission to provide convenient and accessible ways to the SGI CANADA suite of products.”

The small business eQuote service is the first of its kind offered in Saskatchewan and employs Kanetix Ltd’s online quoting technology, states a joint press release.

“Consumer demand for online commercial insurance products is growing,” said Craig Hopkinson, vice-president of Kanetix SaaS.  “Kanetix SaaS is very pleased to be working with SGI Canada as they once again strive to meet the needs of the online consumer in new and innovative ways.”

Though customers obtain their quote online, brokers continue to be an integral part of SGI Canada’s eQuote process. Once a customer has obtained their quote, the customer refers the quote details to their chosen broker for consultation and advice before completing the purchase from the broker.

The eQuote tool can be found at a variety of online locations including participating broker websites, www.sgicanada.ca and www.sgi.sk.ca. eQuote for Toolbox Pak and Energy Pak is fully functional on both desktop computers and mobile devices allowing customers to obtain quotes wherever it’s most convenient for them.
