Validus Specialty expands product portfolio with D&O offering

Validus Specialty Underwriting has expanded its product portfolio to include an admitted, private company commercial D&O policy.

Coverage includes employment practices liability, fiduciary liability, commercial crime and cyber liability, on a combined or standalone.

“This private company D&O offering further fills out our suite of professional lines products at Validus,” Cathy Cossu, senior vice-president of professional lines, said in a news release.

Validus has appointed Julianne McAdams senior underwriter of commercial D&O. She will be based in the firm’s Atlanta office.
