Willis Towers Watson launches general aviation cyberinsurance solution

“Willis Towers Watson Aerospace Cyber Guard is part of our integrated approach to advising companies on how to manage their cyber risks, operate more confidently in this unchartered territory and ultimately protect their brand,” Jason Saunders, president of Willis Towers Watson Aerospace, North America, said in a news release.

The product features first-party coverage for losses stemming from data breaches, social engineering schemes, business interruption and reasonable amounts surrendered to prevent ransomware extortion.

Aerospace Cyber Guard was developed alongside Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions and it will be provided by insurance company subsidiaries of W. R. Berkley Corporation.
