Effective June 1, 2016, the next round of Auto Insurance Reform begins in Ontario. And no matter what your role is in the insurance industry, these reforms WILL affect you.

Join us for this one-day seminar where you’ll learn about the most impactful changes to the legislation since 2006.

Led by two well-known industry experts, this engaging session will introduce the Auto Insurance Reforms from start to finish. You’ll benefit from interactive discussion with a varied audience of industry professionals who bring unique perspectives to the forefront. Our presenters, James Cameron and Laurie Walker bring over 60 years of combined industry experience that includes living through the previous rounds of changes as industry professionals. In addition, James was instrumental in educating the industry on the previous round of changes to automobile insurance in Ontario.

Who should attend:

Claims Adjusters: Whether you are in the claims department, an independent adjuster, at an intermediate, supervisory level or management, you need to be at this seminar. You’ll understand the new definitions and how benefit amount and procedural changes such as a new dispute resolution process will affect how you handle a claim within the new legislative requirements.

Brokers: Your clients are already aware of these changes as government notices have already been distributed to them – and they’ll be turning to you for information on how it affects them. You’ll learn how to explain the policy changes driven by the legislative changes. You’ll also get to take the pulse of the industry from the cross-section of insurance professionals present.

Underwriters: This knowledge will change the way you asses and price risk. As well, you will benefit from an understanding of what adjusters and brokers will be doing differently.

This seminar will also benefit other stakeholders including rehabilitation specialists, lawyers, risk managers, municipalities and more.

CE Hours: 5.5 Technical RIBO hours
