Recent Supreme Court Decision: Rankin’s Garage & Sales JJ: Implications for Canadian business owners and insurers.

Key counsel in the case of Rankin (Rankin’s Garage & Sales) v. J.J. discuss the recent Supreme Court of Canada’s decision to allow an appeal by the owner of Rankin’s Garage, which had been held liable when a car, left unlocked and with keys visible, was stolen and subsequently crashed causing catastrophic injury to the passenger.
