by Insurance Institute of BC
May 06, 2020
Webinar - May 6, 2020 - 10:00 - 11:30 am PST

Now, more than ever, digital data such as cell phone use (text, calls, etc), GPS track logs, and various recorded vehicle events can shed light on an incident – particularly when you have a suspicious or tort claim on your hands. The most cutting edge forensic automotive technology can now give claims and legal professionals more information that historically was not recorded by EDR/black boxes or diagnostic trouble codes.

Topics:
• Infotainment system downloads: the emerging technology, what it is, how its evolved and how forensic experts can acquire the data
• Case Examples: How infotainment system data can be utilized for MVA’s, alleged thefts and recoveries, vandalism etc.
• Infotainment systems’ limitations will also be discussed.
• Q&A Session

Audience: Claims, risk, SIU and legal professionals
