Farming is an integral part of Canada’s economy that not only supplies our food but is also the base of many industries. As farms become larger and more complex they require a combination of personal, farm and commercial coverages. Protect yourself and your clients from unexpected and underinsured losses by understanding the unique products and specialized coverage required for these exceptional enterprises.
Our facilitator will provide a comprehensive overview of farm products, both personal and commercial, from the perspective of broker, underwriter and adjuster.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain how property is classified as a farm and some of the different farm classifications.
  • Describe the components included in a farm policy.
  • Identify standard and specialty farm exposures and available coverages.
  • Analyze applicable coverages of common farm losses.
  • Describe current farm industry trends and unique cases.
