McLarens Canada has partnered with Demers Zajac Vena Insurance Adjusters Inc. and acquired Vanler Insurance Adjusters Ltd.

Demers Zajac Vena Insurance Adjusters Inc. was founded in Montreal in 1987 and, under the successful leadership of John Vena, president, has grown to be one of the premier commercial loss adjusting groups in Quebec.

Founded in 1993 in Toronto by Dennis Schembri, president, Vanler Insurance Adjusters Ltd. will become an integral part of the McLarens management team, according to a release. The company has six Ontario-based locations.

Both companies have excellent reputations and are known for high quality and prompt service, making them a natural fit with the McLarens Canada family, McLarens said.

During the current year, McLarens Canada, in conjunction with its private equity partner, Granite Partners, has added seven locations in Quebec, British Columbia, Nova Scotia and PEI. These acquisitions bring the additional locations to 13 this year, according to a release.

“We remain focused on our strategic expansion plans and will continue on this theme throughout 2007 and 2008,” McLarens Canada said in a release. “We are committed to moving forward enhancing our ability in offering high quality claims service, third party administration and risk management services to all our clients.”
