Kemper Canada has gone online with its HUON system, announcing their personal lines automobile and property markets are now being supported by The HUON Solution. “We now have the system to facilitate a winning environment,” says Judy Maddocks, president of Kemper. “As Kemper Canada introduces HUON over the coming months, we will start to experience growth momentum.” The HUON technology, used internationally but a relatively unknown entity in North America, incorporates online, real time mechanisms which incorporate all components of insurance product and claims distribution. The process is broken down into four HUON online modules — the client, policy administration, claims and billing. Kemper initially signed with HUON one year ago — in the Canadian market, Royal & SunAlliance, AXA Canada and ING Group, are other insurers currently implementing the technology.
