The Insurance Bureau of Canada has appointed Terri MacLean as senior vice-president and chief operating officer of the Insurance Crime Prevention Bureau. MacLean, an insurance lawyer, joins the ICPB after an extensive career including stops at Commercial Union, Wellington Insurance Company and ADP Systems Inc.

Daniel J. Barry has been named director of government affairs by the Risk & Insurance Management Society, Inc. Barry was formerly vice president and counsel of state government affairs with the New York-based Securities Industry Association. RIMS has also appointed Andrew Steggles as director of information systems. Steggles is a former IT manager at The Mortgage Operation Plc. in London.

Tillinghast-Towers Perrin has announced David Oakden’s return to the firm as manager of the property & casualty consulting practice in its Toronto office. Oakden was most recently a senior vice president at Zurich Canada and previously had served Tillinghast-Towers Perrin as a consulting actuary.

KRG Management Inc. has announced Paul Martin’s appointment as president and chief operating officers of KRG Insurance brokers Inc. Martin joined KRG in 1983 as marketing manager and ascended to his most recent position as senior vice president.
