Managing a Cyber Loss Seminar, Feb. 15, 2018

What’s the right way for companies to handle cyber malfeasance, especially when word of a breach gets into the media’s hands? It’s a simple question with a complicated answer, but anyone attending the CybX: Managing a Cyber Loss seminar left the February 15th event much better informed about effectively responding to this growing threat.

Organized by Crawford Global Technical Services, the seminar started with thought-provoking remarks by Chantal Bernier, a Dentons LLP lawyer better known for her tenure as the Assistant Privacy Commissioner of Canada. They were followed by the case study of a fictional cyber breach, with analysis and advice delivered from the podium by specialists in adjusting, cybersecurity and computer forensics, data breach management, law and PR.

Held in the Grand Banking Hall at Toronto’s One King West events venue, the seminar was presented by Crawford, Grant Thornton, Clyde & Co., FleishmannHillard HighRoad, Experian, Mandiant and Dentons.
