APRIL Canada is pleased to announce the second edition of APRIL Academy (formerly APRIL University).

MONTREAL, QC, April 22, 2019 /insPRESS/ – Following the success of the 2018 edition, APRIL is proud to launch its 2019 training tour! Always with the aim of making insurance easier, APRIL Academy offers you a new program with new training courses in new venues!

Here are the modules proposed for this first session 2019:

– Essentials of Pleasure craft insurance (1.5 RIBO hours): This course will provide participants with knowledge of the various types of boats and motors and related pleasure craft coverages. This will increase the pleasure craft insurance knowledge to enable participants to better service their clients needs.

– Insurance for General and specialized contractors (1 RIBO Hour): This one-hour training, enriched from the previous year and now accredited, helps to understand the target market and how to meet the specific needs of contractors.

– Commercial Marine Insurance: This one-hour, non-accredited training course will help you understand the target market thanks to the expertise of a professional in the sector for years!

– Student Housing / Vacant Insurance: This one-hour, non-accredited training course will help you understand the target market!

The first training sessions were successfully held in 2018 in unusual locations such as the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, the University of Ottawa or the Italian Cortina Club in Kitchener, with more than 100 people registered in Ontario! This year again, unexpected places such as the Tett Centre on May 23^rd in Kingston, the Western Fair District in London on May 29th or May 30th at the Mackenzie Hall in Windsor will welcome registered brokers!

A first round of APRIL Academy will take place beginning of May in Quebec, on May 7th at the Oasis Surf Centre in Brossard, on May 8th at the Centre d’exploration des Milles-Îles in Laval and on May 9th at l’Auberge Saint Antoine in Québec City!

A session in Western Canada is already under consideration, as are new webinar programs.
