AXIS Canada Strengthens Underwriting Team with Cyber and Tech-Focused Appointment

TORONTO, ON, August 12, 2019/InsPress/ – AXIS Insurance, a business segment of AXIS Capital Holdings Limited (NYSE:AXS), announced today the appointment of Michael McCallum as Underwriting Manager, effective immediately. Mr. McCallum will be based in Toronto.

Mr. McCallum will be responsible for the management and growth of the Company’s Cyber and Tech book across Canada. Additionally, he will coordinate the further development of the Cyber and Tech strategy for AXIS’s Canadian operations.

Mr. McCallum has nearly 10 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry and joins from Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, where he was a Senior Underwriter. Prior to joining Allianz, he was a Senior Underwriter in Cyber, Tech and Professional Liability lines for CNA Hardy.
