Burns & Wilcox Canada Continues Expansion With Key Hires

Burns & Wilcox Canada is pleased to announce that Mei Han, CIP, MBA and Nicole Abraham, BA, CIP, CRM have joined the company, adding significant experience and enhancing the abilities of the Burns & Wilcox Canada team as it expands in key Canadian markets. Mei Han joins the team as a Commercial Insurance Underwriter and Nicole Abraham joins the team as National Sales and Marketing Manager.

Mei Han comes to Burns & Wilcox with more than seven years’ experience as a broker and underwriter with expertise in both personal and commercial coverages.  Ms. Han comes to Burns & Wilcox Canada from Aviva Canada Inc., where she handled both commercial and personal lines. Prior to that, she handled commercial underwriting for AIG China after starting her career at Beijing New World Insurance in China. Han completed her MBA with Richard Ivey School of Business in Canada and the Rotterdam School of Management Erasmus University in The Netherlands and has her Chartered Insurance Professional designation. She is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Nicole Abraham brings more than twelve years’ of industry experience to Burns & Wilcox Canada with deep expertise in business development and broker management. Ms. Abraham joins Burns & Wilcox Canada after ten years at Unica Insurance Company, where her most recent roles were Business Development Manager and Leader of Broker Management. She began her career at RSA Insurance in both their Toronto and Dubai offices working in broker management and sales training. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, and the Chartered Insurance Professional and CRM designations.
