Unique program helps secure income property investments
Toronto, ON [July 31, 2013] – Burns & Wilcox Canada has announced the introduction of its house Flippers Program, a product designed specifically for those who purchase, repair and sell or rent homes. The program includes property coverage as well as general liability coverage for repairs taking place on each property.
“Income properties are significant investments that need to be protected from risk to ensure a good return,” said Gary Hirst, National Director, Burns & Wilcox Canada. “For this reason we designed a product that helps brokers provide their clients the confidence they need to maximize their investment.”
General liability includes repair work as well as vacant homes, with one policy covering vacant and rented dwellings, short or long term. The policy also allows for pools. The program insures properties on an actual cash value basis in broad or basic form. Burns & Wilcox Canada will pro-rate premiums for properties being added or removed from the policy.
