ClaimsPro Announces Retirement of Wayne Guy, and Appoints Mike Connolly and Calvin Roberts to District Manager roles for Atlantic Canada

TORONTO, May 24, 2018 /insPRESS/ – Following 13 exemplary years with ClaimsPro, Wayne Guy, Vice President, Atlantic Region, will be retiring, effective May 31.

Wayne has played a crucial role as ClaimsPro evolved into Canada’s largest independent adjusting firm, with 120+ locations from coast to coast. Wayne’s leadership in the Atlantic region was instrumental in growing the ClaimsPro brand, and his vision and expertise will be sorely missed. Before joining ClaimsPro, he was the founder and owner of Provincial Adjusting, based in Newfoundland, which SCM purchased in 2005.

“Wayne has put significant effort into growing our Atlantic team while developing our client base across the region,” said Lorri Frederick, President of ClaimsPro.  “I would like to personally thank Wayne for his devotion to the independent adjusting profession, and on behalf of the entire management team of ClaimsPro, we sincerely wish Wayne a happy, healthy, and well-deserved retirement.”

As of June 1, the Atlantic Region will be divided into two districts with two managers, both reporting to Christopher Tirrell, Vice President Operations for Eastern Canada. Mike Connolly will be District Manager for Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, while Calvin Roberts will be District Manager for New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

“Wayne will be missed, but we congratulate Calvin and Mike on their expanded roles,” said Christopher Tirrell. “ClaimsPro prides itself on its people, and we know these two will continue to provide leading service to the Atlantic region.”

Calvin is a 28-year veteran of the industry who has been with ClaimsPro for 12 years.  For the past 10 years, he has been an integral part of the New Brunswick operations as Branch and District Manager.

Mike has been an adjuster for 20 years, including eight years with ClaimsPro.  For the past three years he has been District Manager for mainland Nova Scotia.
