ClaimsPro Enhances Transportation, Equipment, and Cargo (TEC) Claims Services with Appointment of British Columbia Lead Position

TORONTO, ON – March 22, 2019/insPRESS/ – ClaimsPro, Canada’s leading provider of independent claims adjusting services and an SCM company, today announced the appointment of Jason Illes as TEC Provincial Lead, British Columbia, Specialty Risk Division (SRD). Mr. Illes is taking an enhanced role with the Transportation, Equipment, and Cargo (TEC) team, a specialized services division focused on providing claims support to the transportation and trucking industries.

Mr. Illes is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) with over 26 years of experience. Before his appointment as Provincial Lead, Mr. Illes served as Branch Manager and Senior Adjuster with ClaimsPro, where he firmly-rooted himself as a motor truck cargo, heavy equipment, and international cargo claims expert. In these previous roles, Mr. Illes dealt with all aspects of Motor Truck Cargo insurance adjusting, including the assessment of large scale environmental losses, conducting liaison with government agencies concerning clean up efforts, and the involvement in rare or exotic cargo claims involving the recovery, salvage, or disposal of cargo.

In his new role, Mr. Illes will harness his specialized experience while working alongside the TEC team to handle transportation industry claims as well as building and enhancing client relationships to assist in business development and growth opportunities. Further, he will be focusing on training and providing mentorship for adjusters within the commercial transportation industry in the British Columbia region.
