ClaimsPro’s Specialty Risk Division’s Transportation, Equipment & Cargo (TEC) Unit Enhances National Leadership Team

Toronto, Jan. 10, 2018 /insPRESS/  – ClaimsPro, Canada’s largest independent adjusting company is pleased to announce an enhanced national leadership team for the Specialty Risk Division’s Transportation, Equipment & Cargo (TEC) unit.

Rick Kosowan, CIP, CRM has been named TEC Director for Western Canada. A Transportation Loss Specialist with nearly 40 years of adjusting and related field experience, Mr. Kosowan holds extensive and comprehensive experience in long haul transportation losses of all types including commercial trucks, trailers, cargo. He also handles Manitoba PIPP injury benefits and U.S./Canadian BI tort claims. Based in Winnipeg, Mr. Kosowan will oversee all TEC operations in Western Canada.

Jerry Gerschkow, CIP has been promoted to TEC Director, Ontario. He brings more than 40 years of industry experience to his role, along with an extensive background handling all aspects of commercial transportation losses, cargo, commercial property, and liability claims. He will continue to be based in Toronto.

Sonia Ryme, previously an Assistant Manager and Operational Manager for TEC, has been named TEC Director, Quebec and Eastern Canada. She has more than 20 years’ experience in TEC claims, including bodily injury and cargo, along with more than 20 years’ experience in management positions and over 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. As TEC Director, Quebec and Eastern Canada, Ms. Ryme will be based in Montreal.

Transportation, Equipment & Cargo is ClaimsPro’s highly-specialized division that offers claims services specific to the TEC sector as it pertains to collision, cargo, total loss and salvage valuations, environmental, subrogation, accident benefits, and liability investigations. ClaimsPro’s team of specialized adjusters provide TEC services throughout North America. TEC is part of ClaimsPro’s Specialty Risk Division (SRD), led by Sean Forgie, Senior Vice President, SRD.
