Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc. Assisting with Claims

May 30, 2012   by Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc.

On May 29, a massive downpour caused heavy flooding in many parts of the city of Montreal and its South Shore suburbs. Environment Canada has reported that up to 80 millimetres of rain fell in some areas, resulting in power failures, damaged private property, and forcing many public buildings and institutions to evacuate. Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc.’s adjusters in Quebec and New Brunswick, along with the Company’s national CAT team, are currently assisting with the surge of claims resulting from this event.

“Our adjusters are equipped with the experience necessary to act quickly during times such as this,” said John Sharoun, chief executive officer of Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc. “Our contact centre has received hundreds of calls since the storm began and we are well positioned to deliver services to the affected areas.”
