CRU opens new training facility in Oklahoma

CRU Adjusting has opened a state-of-the-art training facility in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Our courses feature comprehensive catastrophe claims training utilizing the Xactimate software that is popular with many insurance carriers today and making us a contender among competing courses.
The centre is complete with training aids that enable participants the opportunity to learn damage assessment through a hands-on approach. The in-class materials utilized teach time management, organizational skills and the entire scope of adjusting catastrophe claims.
Thorough instruction is given on the use of the estimating software, Xactimate. The course covers all the features an adjuster needs to be successful in the industry, starting with the basics through the more advanced features, encompassing the entire claims handling process. Important practical knowledge including time-saving techniques, utilizing macros and the sketch feature of the software provide key skills which will make any adjuster completing this course a valuable asset to their team or organization.
Course instructor, Glenn Smith, has a unique way of educating students and bringing them onboard with real life scenarios in a classroom setting. “My focus is on making students aware of the multi-dimensional elements involved in claims work and giving them the educational tools needed to be productive and successful in today’s claims market” Smith says.
Classes are available all year with start dates as early as March 21st. The classes run for two weeks and cost $1,495.00.
