CSIO Releases Video on Industry eSlips Solution

August 14, 2017   by CSIO (Centre for Study of Insurance Operations)

(Toronto – August 14, 2017) The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) is pleased to announce the development of an industry-wide solution to deliver digital proof of auto insurance (eSlips) to consumers, in collaboration with its carrier and broker members. This solution leverages mobile digital wallets common to Apple, Android and Windows smartphones – the same technology that 57% of Canadians already use today to store boarding passes, event tickets, loyalty cards and credit cards.

“We are excited to work with our members including Gore Mutual, Northbridge Insurance, RSA Canada, and a number of brokerages on developing this eSlips solution for the P&C industry,” says Catherine Smola, CSIO President and CEO. “eSlips will provide members with an easy, accessible way to meet consumers where they are today – on their mobile devices.”

Benefits include:

  • Share eSlips with other people and devices quickly and easily
  • Privacy functionality enables consumers to lock their screen
  • Secure cloud-based solution hosted entirely in Canada
  • Supports digital delivery of policy documents

Release of the CSIO eSlips solution is expected by year-end. Sign up here to receive regular updates, or visit csio.com/eslips to learn more.
