GATINEAU, QC, Jan. 22, 2019/insPRESS -The MBC Group, today announced their continued expansion in the province of Ontario. In 2018, fueled by customer demand, MBC more than doubled the size of their team through acquisition and aggressive hiring. Their growth will continue in 2019 through special projects and additional recruitment.
“Our goal is to increase the size of our team and coverage across Canada, says Ross Huartt, Chief Operating Officer, MBC Group. “Growing our team ensures we can continue to support our customer’s current and changing needs. It will also allow us to deploy catastrophe teams rapidly when required,” he added.
MBC Group’s Ontario team includes support for Southern Ontario with offices and representatives in Niagara, Toronto, Barrie, and Ottawa. Northern Ontario is supported with an office in Sudbury. The Ontario team of eight is lead by Richard Comtois (Ontario Manager). Richard Comtois has been part of the MBC Group team for over 10 years and is a restoration and post-loss property appraisal professional with over 33 years experience in the insurance construction industry.
“We carefully select appraisers that will are not only a cultural fit, but have significant expertise,” says Rick Comtois, Ontario Manager, MBC Group. “This gives them a head start, during their onboarding period, as they are shadowed by senior team members to ensure they fully understand MBC processes and our customer’s requirements,” he added.
Ron Gosselin, a seasoned professional who joined the MBC team in the summer of 2018 as Senior Appraiser, will manage the Toronto office. Ron has over 19 years of construction estimating, appraisal, restoration, and project management experience.
