Doug Irwin Appointed Vice President, Western Region with On Side Restoration

Vancouver, BC – Amandio Contreiras, Chief Operating Officer with On Side Restoration, is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Doug Irwin to the position of Vice President, Western Region.   In his new role with On Side Restoration, Mr. Irwin will provide key senior leadership and direction for On Side Restoration’s Western Canadian operations from British Columbia through Manitoba.  Doug’s expertise in sales, operations, change management, strategic planning, talent development, and financial analysis will be invaluable to On Side as the organization continues to grow steadily.

To fulfill his mandate, Mr. Irwin will draw upon his in-depth knowledge and experience developed during previous senior leadership roles within commercial and residential restoration, remediation, energy management, and controls to drive incremental revenue while ensuring On Side Restoration service levels of excellence are achieved.

“We are strengthening our strategic management team to allow our branches to maintain their crucial daily focus on project requirements and best in class customer service.  Bringing Doug to the team helps to add further depth to our already talented roster of management personnel,” says Contreiras.

Prior to joining On Side Restoration, Doug held several senior positions including Senior Vice President, Western Region with FirstOnsite Restoration; Market Manager with Carrier Corporation; CEO with Securtek, and various regional and international leadership roles with Honeywell.

Mr. Irwin will be based out of the Calgary location and he holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, both earned from the University of Saskatchewan.
